Order Processing Times
FOR ITEMS IN STOCK
We make every effort to ship orders within 24-72 hours on business days. The exception to this would be if items require embroidery, alteration, or are custom made.
FOR ITEMS OUT OF STOCK
Customers who order items that are out of stock will be contacted via email or phone. At this time you can either substitute for a similar item that is in stock or backorder the original item. Backorders generally take anywhere from 1-4 weeks.
ITEMS WITH EMBROIDERY
If you request embroidery, this can take 7-10 days to be completed before your order will be shipped.
Custom-made items such as scrub tops and hats can take from 7-14 business days before they are ready to be shipped.
The majority of our packages are sent via Australia Post eParcel. This is Australia Post's trackable parcel delivery service.
Delivery times depend on your location.
On average, the delivery time for metropolitan areas is around 1-3 days.
For regional areas, the wait time can be longer.
We offer express post if requested for shipments under 5kg. If you require express delivery for shipments over 5kg, we can provide you with a quote.
Australia Post Express Post shipping times apply and are dependent on your location.
We are able to ship orders internationally.
The cost of shipping will vary depending on the weight of your parcel and location—if you would like a quote for this, feel free to contact us.
Authority to Leave
Requests can be made to leave your parcel without a signature in your order notes.
If you will not be present to accept your delivery or you feel that your address is unsafe to have a parcel left unattended, we recommend avoiding this.
NOTE: Should any damage or theft occur in this instance, Hunter Scrubs cannot be held liable for any losses.
On rare occasions, parcels can be misplaced by Australia Post. In most instances, we are able to contact them to find the parcel, but at times, this is not possible.
For this reason, we now offer shipping insurance at checkout to protect your parcel against any loss, theft or damage that occurs during the delivery process.
Should you choose to add this and your parcel gets lost or stolen before delivery, you will either receive a full refund for the cost of your order, or a replacement at no extra cost.
It is up to your discretion whether or not you would like to add this, but we highly recommend it—especially if you're making a larger order.
Hunter Scrubs will not be liable for any lost, stolen or damaged parcels incurred during the delivery process, or for delivery delays which are out of our control.
We're making every effort to ensure that our packaging doesn't have a negative impact on the environment. For this reason, we have chosen to always use either compostable, or recycled plastic mailers for all of our parcels.
Please ensure you read the instructions on the packaging to find out how you can dispose of it (or home compost it) responsibly.
P.s. As of November 2022, all of our shipping labels are also compostable, so there is no need to remove them from the bag or box!
